Do you participate, willingly or otherwise, in the United Way fund drive/campaign through your workplace? Did you know you can actually direct your United Way contributions to specific non-profit organizations of your choosing, such as the Greyhound Outreach, Inc.? Greyhound Outreach, Inc. is an IRS approved 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization and is on the United Way of Central New York Agency list. This means that when the time comes to make your United Way donations through your workplace fund drive, your donation can find its way to Greyhound Outreach, Inc. via United Way by simply doing the following: Typically, United Way allows 3 options for donations . (I) contribution with no strings attached; (II) contribution to a specific chapter of United Way; and (III) contribution to a specific United Way Agency. Choose Option (III) and provide the following information:
That's it! This is a fantastic way to satisfy your workplace giving mandate AND give back to the hounds at the same time. Your contribution via United Way fund drive will support Greyhound Outreach's ongoing adoption efforts as well as veterinary expenses, education and fostering programs.

Greyhound Outreach also accepts direct personal & business donations. You can request that your funds be used in a specific way (i.e., towards vet bills, marketing/public relations expenses, etc.). If not specified, your donation will go towards Greyhound Outreach's general fund, which is used to pay for vet fees and operational costs. (A nice way to celebrate your greyhound's birthday is to donate to Greyhound Outreach, thus enabling us to help more greyhounds!) Please consider giving a donation or volunteering some time, to the plight of the greyhound! |
